The Lease

The most important legal document for service charge budgets is the lease. The lease will provide you with the framework with which to create your service charge for a particular development. You will find the following information available for the lease.

• Financial year
• Payment dates
• If payment is in advance of arrears
• Services to include
• If the budget will consist of multiple schedules
• Tenants apportionment
