It would be very rare for no dates to be mentioned at all, more common would be that only a financial year end is stated or possibly just a payment date.
In this instance you should determine the intention of the charge, is it advance or arrears? Answering that question will give you a much better understanding of how to move forward as possibly (for arrears charges) both dates aren’t needed.
If the intention in the lease is for advance payment but the lease is silent on a financial year or the payment dates then it is a fairly safe bet that you can use whatever you have to inform the other. For instance if you just have a year end date of 31st December, set the payment date as 1st January. However, I would always suggest you run that past a solicitor before you take any firm action.
