This course is designed to provide a clear understanding of leasehold management within Housing Associations. Covering the history of leasehold, from its beginnings in the 11th century to the latest changes in 2024.
You’ll learn about different leasehold tenures, such as Shared Ownership and Right to Buy, and how they work. We’ll also cover the roles of freeholders, managing agents, and resident management companies, and the challenges that come with these relationships.
This training aims to give you a solid foundation to better understand leasehold properties and how you may encounter them in a Housing Association setting.
