This course will advise about the broadband industry in the UK. Providing an overview of the market changes in recent years, fibre provisioning and the upgrading of properties. Most importantly we will look at the recent changes to regulations in the UK focusing on Part R of the building regs. The course will advise what you should be practically doing to meet the current regulations and effectively provide the gold standard service that residents are demanding to add real value to their buildings.

Tim Huxtable

Tim qualified specializing in telecoms in 2003 and is passionate about promoting technology which solves our 21st-century problems and helps resolve challenges pragmatically.  He worked in the telecoms team at GVA Grimley before moving on to Cushman & Wakefield and JLL. From the SLT he drove the growth of infrastructure providers including Hyperoptic, Wifinity and CTG, before setting up Proptech Developments as an independent technology consultancy. 

David Walker

David’s experience spans over 35 years as a Surveyor and property technology professional, a deal maker and consultant in the London and National markets of both commercial and residential sectors. At Hyperoptic David steered the board through a sales-led growth strategy and worked with over 300 developers to deliver fibre to UK National markets.  More recently acting as a consultant with Beringar, David has extended his tech credentials to use Smart building devices to collate data and assess ESG for Landlords and occupiers in the commercial sector.
